Cass Job Corp Fact Sheet
  Job Corps is a no-cost education and vocational training program administered by the U.S. Department of Labor that helps young people ages 16 through 24 improve the quality of their lives through vocational and academic training. The Job Corps program is authorized by Title I-C of the Workforce Investment Act of 1998.

At Cass Job Corps Center, the mission is to teach eligible young people the skills they need to become employable and independent and placing them in meaningful jobs or further education.
Cass Job Corps is overseen by the Dallas Regional office of Job Corps and is operated by the U.S. Department of Agriculture- Forest Service.

Cass Job Corps provides academic training, including GED and High School diploma programs in addition to Drivers Education.

In addition to academic training, Job Corps provides career technical training in the following trades: Culinary Arts, Brick Masonry, Carpentry, Welding, Cement Masonry, Facilities Maintenance, Painting, Office Administration and Heavy Equipment.

The Job Corps program is generally a two year commitment. Students received free housing, meals, a clothing allowance and a salary.

The center can house 164 male students and 60 female students in four dormitories.

The Cass Job Corps is located 13 miles north of Ozark, Arkansas on Hwy 23.
