Clear Creek Baptist Association has several events, ministry updates, prayer needs, and encouraging reports to share for October through December 2026.

Clear Creek Baptist Association will hold its 154th Annual Meeting on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at Cabin Creek Baptist Church, 1121 W. Main St. in Lamar.

The afternoon session will be held from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:00 p.m. The evening service will begin at 6:50 p.m.

Dr. Laramie LeQuieu, President of the Arkansas Baptist State Convention, will deliver messages during both the afternoon and evening sessions.

The theme for this year’s meeting is, “Will You Not Revive Us Again, That Your People May Rejoice in You.” 

October 14 — CCBA Office Closed

October 19–20 — Arkansas Baptist State Convention Annual Meeting at First Baptist Church, Rogers

October 22 — Senior Adult Event at Eastside Baptist Church in Fort Smith

November 1 — Daylight Saving Time Ends

November 9 — Baptist Vista Delegation Board Meeting

November 25–26 — CCBA Office Closed for Thanksgiving 

During October, please pray for Cabin Creek Baptist Church and Matt McManus, Concord Baptist Church and Dale Walker, and Cherry Street Baptist Church and Cody Sheppard. 

During November, please pray for Cass Chapel and Mike Shields, Eastern Heights and Tim Smith, and Mission de FBC Van Buren and Edwin Reyes. 

During December, please pray for Clarksville Second Baptist Church and Tom Dicus, Getsemani and Santiago Albuja, and Iglesia Betel and Santiago Albuja. 

Please also continue to pray for our pastorless churches, Graphic Baptist Church and Hagarville Baptist Church. 

River Valley Freeway Ministries recently celebrated the one-year anniversary of its Saturday night outreach. The ministry reports an average attendance of approximately 65 people and continues to see growth.

Churches throughout the association are invited to become involved by serving during the outreach or helping teach in the ministry’s Seasons Classes. 

The ministry will also hold its 2nd Annual Night Golf Fundraiser on October 23. 

River Valley Freeway Ministries also operates a one-year Men’s Discipleship Program. At the time of the newsletter, the ministry was in the process of vetting seven men from the Crawford County Jail and asked churches to pray for the men and for the circumstances surrounding their possible placement in the program.

Clear Creek Baptist Association is receiving Annual Church Profiles from churches across the association. These reports include information about attendance, baptisms, church membership, and offerings.

One encouraging early report is that baptisms are projected to be higher than the previous year.

As churches continue through the fall and holiday season, CCBA encourages each congregation to remain focused on evangelism, missions, and carrying out Christ’s Great Commission both locally and around the world.
